In Loving Memory

Brian Jae Young, age 53, of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away on Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born on January 11, 1971, in Concord, California, to John and Sue Young.
Brian devoted his life to serving others—through his work, his faith, and the way he showed up for the people he loved. He served as a youth pastor at First Assembly of God Church in Magazine and worked as a shipping supervisor for Old Dominion Trucking Company. In every role, Brian was known for his steady leadership, generous heart, and willingness to help wherever he was needed.
Outside of work and ministry, Brian found joy in the things that made life full: shooting guns, traveling, cooking, spending time with family, and lending a hand to others. He was also an avid scuba diver, always drawn to adventure and new experiences.
Brian was preceded in death by his father, John Young; his maternal grandmother, Monita J. Smith; his maternal grandfather, Seth Smith; and his paternal grandparents.
Brian is lovingly remembered by his wife, Jennifer Young; his daughters, Felicia Marie DeWitt (Larry) of Booneville, Arkansas, and Madison Hutchinson (Brent) of Brandon, Mississippi; his mother, Sue Young of Booneville, Arkansas; his brother, Scott Young (Michele) of Lake Bay, Washington; his stepsons, Willis Collier (Camella) of Anchorage, Alaska, and Max Ruffaner of Oark, Arkansas; his stepdaughters, Dylan Ivy (Mikey) of Coal Hill, Arkansas, and Kaitlyn Fulghum (Wynn) of Houston, Texas; his grandchildren, Kaci, Kambri, Lilly, Kilian, Ryleigh, Levi, and Cinco; and many other relatives and friends who will miss him deeply.
