In Loving Memory

Jonathan Glen Karl Seubold, age 42, of Van Buren, Arkansas, took his last breath on this side of heaven on Sunday, July 13, 2025. He was born on June 20, 1983, in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
Jonathan dedicated his life to helping children and families heal and grow. He was a Licensed Professional Counselor, certified in Play Therapy and Supervision, and served at the Center for Psychiatric Wellness. Through his work, Jonathan combined exceptional skill with a deep understanding of behavioral science—always grounded in genuine compassion and a steady commitment to the well-being of every child he served.
Jonathan was a lifelong learner who pursued his calling with purpose. He graduated from Southwest Baptist University in Bolivar, Missouri, and during his final semester was selected to attend the Focus on the Family Institute in Colorado Springs. He later earned his Master’s degree in Counseling from Colorado Christian University in Colorado Springs.
Over the years, Jonathan’s care and dedication touched countless lives. The love he showed, the hope he helped restore, and the difference he made for children and families will be remembered for a long time to come.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his father, Dr. Torsten “Doc” Seubold; and his grandparents, Donald and Glenda Henrichs, and Drs. Frank and Ruth Seubold.
Jonathan is survived by his mother, Ramona (Henrichs) Seubold of Van Buren; his brother, Dr. Joshua Seubold and wife Lindsay of Van Buren; his sister, Dr. Jordana Beutelschies and husband Cody of Van Buren; cousins by blood and siblings by heart, Remi and Reese Scharbor of the home; two nephews, Collier and Callen Beutelschies; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will carry his memory forward.
